Metal binder jetting is a 3D printing technology used to produce complex metal parts with excellent mechanical properties.
Compared with other metal processing technologies, producing metal parts using binder jetting is significantly more cost-effective, with costs often only a fraction of traditional methods, and it places very few restrictions on design. Binder jetting equipment also features a large build volume and high production speed, making it well-suited for rapid delivery of small to medium batch parts. Its combination of speed and cost efficiency makes it an ideal choice for industries that require high-strength components, such as industrial manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, and oil and gas.
This table shows the general tolerance range of the metal binder jetting technology. Stresses generated during the building process and other geometric factors may cause deviations in tolerance and flatness. Parts with thicker geometries, flat or wide structures, and uneven wall thickness are more likely to have significant deviations or warpage. After the successful completion of prototype building, higher precision tolerances may be achieved through manual quotation review, but it needs to be approved on a case-by-case basis depending on specific circumstances. Unless otherwise specified, general tolerances apply to parts before secondary finishing or post-processing.
